This site provides a space for groups to form around sessions and interests related to the 2011 Computers and Writing Conference. Participate by creating a group for a conference session. Then add any observations or reviews of the session. If session participants are actively working on materials after the conference, join the group to become a reviewer. 

Or create or join an interest group and use the space to connect and converse.

You can also browse archives of feeds related to the conference. Feed materials are updated every fifteen minutes--though third-party sites may update more slowly. Just tag tweets or videos uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo with "cwcon" and they will eventually be collected here.

This was the first keynote of the 2011 Computers and Writing Conference. Tim Wu offered a history of moments of innovation and stifling consolidation in the film industry, concluding with a question as to whether we can expect similar trends related to the Internet.
